Here are a few easy steps to ensure receipt scanning is successful:
- Make sure the receipt picture is clear and taken in a well-lit location (or flash is turned on)
- Make sure the Date, Total, and Merchant Name are all clearly visible
- If the receipt is long, take pictures in multiple parts with the multi-picture tool ('+' button after taking your first picture)
- After taking a picture of your receipt, wait a moment for the Date and Total to appear with check marks before accepting the receipt
